Episode 32: Hey Big Head
Before you listen to this episode, remember that it’s all just jokes! Anyways...during our introductory conversation we went to church three different times, learned that Tim forgot what number Magic Johnson wore, and we asked y’all to share the show because we don’t grow without y’all. As usual, we covered a wide range of topics on this episode including NFL, NBA, and WWE. You can listen to this episode via iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and Soundcloud; you can also skip ahead to the topic of your choosing by clicking on the corresponding time stamp(s).
We kicked things off by discussing Jonny Triumph’s victory in our NFL Pick ‘Em Pool (00:14:11), followed by us discussing the various coaches and GM’s who’ve moved on or been extended (00:16:23), which coaching vacancy was the most appealing (00:20:49), and if the Rooney Rule is being followed in Oakland (00:24:45). Next, we briefly discussed Pete Carroll’s comments on Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor (00:28:40) but this conversation got off track while talking about high school reunions and Camille’s uncle’s basketball opinions (00:30:25).
Once we got back on track we discussed Carson Palmer’s retirement and how he’ll be remembered (00:32:24) and which modern-era NFL HOF finalists we think will be inducted next year (00:33:55). We finished up this topic by talking about which teams we’d like to see on the upcoming season of Hard Knocks (00:42:03).
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s game-winning bucket— and all of the flack that came with it— kicked off this topic discussion (00:43:53). The discussion then went on to discuss Avery Bradley’s latest legal allegations (00:44:33), new information around Kyrie Irving’s Cleveland exit (00:46:57), the best beauty products to use (00:50:22), and Gregg Popovich making NBA history (00:52:26). We finished up by discussing woke celebrities (00:53:10) and highlighting the latest NBA injury news which turned into a conversation about how 2K is life (00:54:14).
