This week’s show was a little different since Eric was calling in to do the show. We started the episode by recapping our weeks, including Tim’s anniversary weekend and Camille’s injury. As usual, we covered a wide range of topics on this episode, including NFL, NBA, NCAA, and WWE. You can listen to this episode via iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and Soundcloud; you can also skip ahead to the topic of your choosing by clicking on the corresponding time stamp(s).
First we recapped the best and worst performances of the NFL season thus far (00:12:00) before Ken called out Packer fans (00:15:21). Next, we discussed the current standings in the #TECKFoulPickEm Pool (00:16:35) before making our Week 10 NFL game predictions (00:18:09). But with us being us, we went into a side conversation about the worst ways to eat chicken and the worst struggle foods (00:22:30).
After that, we talked about the two fights this past Sunday (00:26:22), Leonard Fournette missing Sunday’s game (00:28:30), and then detoured to discuss going to this weekend’s Bucks game (00:30:32). Once we got back on track...we purposely ignored the latest in the Ezekiel Elliott suspension story to discuss Teddy Bridgewater being activated and Sam Bradford going on IR (00:31:46). Things got weird as we listened to Tim trying to get into Smack City which led into a conversation about some underrated black comedians (00:33:04). We finished up our NFL conversations by talking about Josh Gordon’s return (00:35:18) and the latest injury news (00:36:52).
Kicking off the NBA discussion, we gave our thoughts on the past week (00:37:10), if Kyle Kuzma or Lonzo Ball was better (00:40:59), New “Staps” City (00:42:03), and the Eric Bledsoe/Greg Monroe trade (00:44:00). We tied things up by discussing Giannis’ new Nike deal (00:54:18), LeBron’s Instagram (00:58:30), and weird smells (01:02:00).
We touched on way too early upcoming NBA draft predictions (01:03:57), the latest college football playoff rankings and which teams could fall out (01:06:55), our favorite college basketball teams (01:08:35), and the college football AP rankings (01:09:52).
We recapped the highlights from the past week episodes of Raw and Smackdown (01:10:42), how dope Survivor Series should be with Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon being team captains (01:14:08), gave our thoughts on the Ric Flair 30 For 30 documentary (01:16:32), and gave a special shoutout to The Undefeated for featuring Camille in an article about that documentary and black wrestling fans (01:22:20).
Condolences to Roy Halladay (01:22:54). We then give props to the World Series winning Houston Astros (01:23:42), and discuss who we think will be the NL and AL MVP’s (01:24:44).
THE LAST POSSESSION

LaVar Ball’s comments on Lonzo’s playing time (01:31:34)

Camille apologized for not posting last week’s #TECKTop5 and then we dropped our lists for this week, looking at the best sport nicknames (01:34:58). To drop your own #TECKTop5, or vote on the poll, make sure that you are a member of our Facebook group, TECKnical Foul Pod: Overtime.
(01:41:40) We wrapped things up by first shouting out Luis Arias and then dropping our social media handles while saying our goodbyes. Tim ends the show by taking you to church. Thanks for listening, check back in next week.
