Once we got somewhat back on track, we discussed the Colts cutting Vontae Davis (00:24:25), the Buffalo Bills benching Tyrod Taylor (00:26:00), and the Raiders breaking ground in Las Vegas (00:28:10). We finish up our NFL conversations by discussing the latest injury news (00:30:10).
We continued the injuries discussion by highlighting the latest NBA injuries (00:30:37), including a conversation about if Spurs fans should be worried about Kawhi Leonard (00:34:05), and then Tim talked about how much he enjoys live tweeting Bucks games (00:36:58).
We then switched gears to discuss LeBron James and his pettiness (00:38:34), struggle foods and our love/hate relationship with Popeyes (00:45:31). Things are tied up by discussing if medical marijuana should be allowed for athletes (00:50:04) and Nikola Mirotic's return to the Bulls (00:52:09).
We touched on the latest Duke commit, RJ Barrett (00:53:40), the Champion’s Classic (00:54:45) the difference in play between NBA and NCAA (00:56:00) which lead into a conversation about who is the best basketball player on our show. We then discussed the latest college football playoff rankings (00:57:51), if the U is back (00:58:05) and the college football AP rankings (00:59:50).
Kicked off the MLB discussions by talking about Carlos Beltran’s retirement (01:01:07) which led to Tim and Eric debating when his career took off (01:01:58). We finished up this segment discussing who won Rookie of the Year and the Cy Young award (01:04:24).
Charlotte Flair winning the title from Natalya kicked off this topic discussion (01:05:28), followed by us discussing our expectations for this weekend’s PPV, Survivor Series (01:05:37), and we finished things up by briefly discussing James Ellsworth's release from the company (01:09:10).
