THE Eric J. is out of town on his honeymoon (congrats again!) so the T-C-K in TECKnical Foul had to hold it down this week. After our intros we discussed how our week’s went, Tim did his best Eric impersonation, and we chatted about slappin’ skins. We continue the injury discussion by highlighting the latest NBA injuries (00:33:05) and had a conversation about who we thought won the Jahlil Okafor trade (00:33:30). We then discussed the Suns upgrading Mike James from a two-way player to a main roster player (00:35:34) and the possibilities of the NBA in Mexico City which lead to a conversation about things racists say and charlie horses (00:36:09).
We then had a conversation about Matt Barnes retiring from the league which led Ken into a rant (00:40:26). We finish up the topic discussion by talking about the Bulls being undefeated since Nikola Mirotic returned (00:45:00), Dion Waiters refusing to be a bench player (00:45:41), George Hill being unhappy in Sacramento (00:46:10) and Indianapolis getting the 2021 All Star Weekend (00:47:00).
Quick hits on Alabama’s Collin Sexton and Oklahoma’s Trae Young emerging as the best point guards in the 2018 draft class (00:48:02) and if Baker Mayfield was the rightful winner of the Heisman this year (00:49:25).
We briefly touched on how we felt about the Miami Marlins’ trading Giancarlo Stanton to the New York Yankees (00:51:25).
Rich Swann’s legal troubles kicked off this topic conversation (00:53:43) followed by conversations about the new WWE Facebook show (00:54:18) and the upcoming Clash of the Champions PPV this weekend (00:55:03).
