Welcome back to another week of TECK Foul! Before getting into the show we discussed relocating NFL teams, how trash Avengers spoilers are, and paintball gun drive-bys. As usual, we covered a wide range of topics on this episode, including the NFL, NBA, and WWE. You can listen to this episode via iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and Soundcloud; you can also skip ahead to the topic of your choosing by clicking on the corresponding time stamp(s).
Kicked the show off by recapping the latest stories and news surrounding the first round of the NBA playoffs (00:10:43) and the Los Angeles Dodgers SS Cody Seager being out for the season (00:22:02) which led into Camille going on a rant about Eric Bledsoe and the Milwaukee Bucks (00:24:27). After Camille’s rant, we discussed Hulk Hogan encouraging people to vote for Glen Jacobs aka Kane for Knox County mayor (00:30:00) and LaVar Ball pulling LaMelo and LiAngelo from the Lithuania Basketball League (00:32:16).
NFL Draft came and went so we discussed a few topics surrounding the selected quarterbacks, how everyone felt their own team did, and David Akers heel promo (00:34:14). Next...the crew discussed turned to the Memphis Grizzlies hiring JB Bickerstaff as their head coach (00:50:39), the Jacksonville Jaguars owner being in talks to purchase the UK’s Wembley Stadium (00:50:59), and how much Babe Ruth memorabilia sold for (00:51:54). Dez Bryant turned down a multi-year deal from the Baltimore Ravens, so we discussed the market for him (00:53:18) before turning our attention to the WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble event (00:54:34).
We went back to the NBA Playoffs by discussing the second round matchups and storylines (00:57:46). After that, we discussed Wes Matthews opting into his contract (01:01:50), Jason Witten possibly retiring (01:02:18), and the news surrounding ending the one-and-done rule as soon as 2020 (01:03:44). We finished the topic discussions up by talking about the upcoming WWE PPV, Backlash, this Sunday (01:07:26) and the NFL’s suggested tweaks to the kickoffs this season (01:08:22).
